How to use the character sheet
Fill it in: Enter your level and six ability scores, then tick the saving throws and skills your class and background give you. Proficiency bonus, modifiers, skill totals, initiative and passive Perception update instantly. Pick your spellcasting ability and the sheet works out your spell save DC (8 + proficiency + modifier) and spell attack bonus.
Print or save as PDF: Press Print / Save as PDF and choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog for a clean, black-and-white, one-page sheet. Need paper copies for the whole table? Use Print a blank sheet, which prints an empty sheet without touching the one you filled in.
Start from a random character: Roll one up with the character generator, then press Import here to bring in its name, class, species, background, scores, hit points and saving throws. Not sure how to build one? Follow how to make a D&D character step by step.

Is this D&D character sheet free?
Yes. The fillable sheet and the printable PDF are completely free, with no sign-up. Your sheet is saved in your own browser.
How do I get a PDF of my character sheet?
Press Print / Save as PDF and pick "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer. You get a one-page black-and-white sheet you can share or print later.
Does it work with the 2024 rules?
Yes. Ability modifiers, proficiency bonus by level, saving throws, skills, passive Perception and spell save DC are the same in the 2014 and 2024 rules, and the sheet has space for species, background and Origin feat.
How is my spell save DC calculated?
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your spellcasting ability modifier. Spell attack bonus = proficiency bonus + the same modifier. Pick your spellcasting ability on the sheet and both are filled in.
Can I print a blank character sheet?
Yes. Press Print a blank sheet to print an empty copy for new players without clearing the sheet you have filled in.

About this roller
DnD Dice Roller (dnddiceroller.org) rolls every die with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, crypto.getRandomValues, and uses rejection sampling so every face is exactly equally likely. The 3D dice only animate a result that has already been decided this way; the physics never picks the number. Rolls happen on your device and are never sent to our server.
